Pricing questions
What counts as a website?
A website is one project in your workspace, usually one domain. Each project gets its own embed key, feedback forms, inbox and settings. Subdomains you want triaged together can share a project.
What happens when I hit my plan’s website limit?
Existing projects keep working and collecting feedback. You just can’t create new ones until you upgrade or archive an old project. Solo covers 3 websites, Studio 10, Agency 50.
How does the 14-day trial work?
Solo and Studio start with 14 days free, so you get the full plan before the first charge. Cancel inside the trial from the billing page and you pay nothing. Agency is billed from day one; the 30-day refund window below covers you instead.
Can I pay in euros or dollars?
Billing is in GBP. The currency switcher above shows indicative EUR and USD prices at the latest European Central Bank rate, so you know roughly what your card will be charged.
Do these prices include VAT or sales tax?
No, prices are shown excluding tax. Bugpot is sold through Polar as merchant of record, so they work out the VAT, GST or sales tax due in your country and add it at checkout before you pay. If you are a business with a valid VAT or tax ID, enter it at checkout and the reverse charge is applied where your country allows it.
Who appears on my card statement?
Polar, not Bugpot or Red Frog Studio. They are our authorised reseller and merchant of record, which means they take the payment, issue your invoice and handle tax worldwide. Your receipt links to a portal where you can download invoices and manage the subscription.
How do I contact you before buying?
Email hello@bugpot.io or call +44 20 3432 4107. We answer within one working day. Billing and invoice questions can also go straight to Polar, who took the payment.
Can I switch between monthly and yearly billing?
Yes. Changes are prorated automatically, and switching to yearly effectively gets you two months free.
Do you offer refunds?
If Bugpot isn’t working out in your first 30 days on a paid plan, email us and we’ll refund that first payment in full, whether you paid monthly or yearly. The refund policy page has the detail, including the statutory rights that apply alongside the guarantee.
Do you support self-hosting?
The three plans above are the cloud service, and they are the only thing we sell. Teams with strict data-residency requirements sometimes need Bugpot inside their own infrastructure instead, which we handle case by case rather than as an off-the-shelf product. Get in touch via the contact page and we’ll talk it through.
