How the sync works
Two-way sync, not a fire-and-forget webhook
Bugpot writes the report into Basecamp and then watches for changes coming back — status, comments and closes — so the two systems stay in step without anyone re-typing anything.
Outbound
Bugpot → Basecamp
Reports become to-dos in the project and list you configure, with the screenshot attached and reporter information in the description.
Inbound
Basecamp → Bugpot
Completing the to-do resolves the Bugpot report; new comments on the to-do post back into the Bugpot thread.

Every Bugpot field has a home in Basecamp. The defaults are sensible; you can remap any of them from the workspace settings if your setup names things differently.

Setup
Five steps, about five minutes
The whole thing runs through OAuth — you don’t paste tokens, and Bugpot only requests the scopes it needs to create issues and read status changes.
In Bugpot, open Settings → Integrations and click Connect Basecamp.
Authorise Bugpot via OAuth and choose the project that receives new tasks.
Map Bugpot statuses to columns or stages in Basecamp.
Decide whether comments in Basecamp post back into the Bugpot thread — on by default.
Send a test report and check the task appears with the screenshot attached.
